My sister and I cruised on the NCL Sky last year (her very first cruise)so decided to go again this year, picking up an extra night this time. We very much liked our room location - 5010 - as it was just around the corner from the main hub of elevators and guest services and just a skip to the Palace Dining Room. It was very easy to find our way around from this central location. We love the Sky - the layout is easy to navigate and the decor is light and airy. Everything was clean, and the service was great.

We sailed only 2 weeks after hurricane Irene hit the East Coast, but were very pleased that we made all our ports of call. Our itinerary had two ports of call switched to accommodate another NCL ship - no problem.

We opted to roll our luggage on ourselves this time. It was so easy! We rolled right to the dining room, sat down and had a wonderful leisurely lunch - by 2:00 our room was ready so we wheeled our luggage inside and were ready to sail! The other passengers started getting their luggage around 6:00, so either way works great. Read more
