Sail Date: Oct 2004

For starters, this has to be the best way to vacation. My husband and I and another couple both were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We have been friends since high school and felt like we wanted to do something very special for ourselves. We live near New Orleans, so it was convenient for us to drive there and get on the ship in a blink of the eye. This being our first vacation ever in 25 yrs, made things really exciting.

Our trip was Oct 17th thru Oct 24th, 2004, and the weather was absolutely beautiful. Clear skies and smooth seas all week long. If we didn't look out to sea, we never knew we were on a ship. We had a balcony oceanview room which was great. We will sail again and will get a room like this one.

The food was good, the entertainment was great. You never get bored on this ship. There is something around every corner to do or see. And if all you want to do is sit back and just relax, you can.
