Since we took a cruise on our honeymoon, what better than a Med cruise for our 25th anniversary? We were not disappointed. To put things in perspective, I have been on cruise ships since the days of the Lurline going to Hawaii in the 1950's as a teenager, and have been on lines ranging from the cattle cars of RCL to the luxury small ships of Windstar. Seabourn is without a doubt the best line we have cruised with.
From the breakfast buffets on the fantail to the special dinners, we never had a complaint about the food. Wines were fine. As an example of service, it was nice to have our drinks being prepared for us in the observation lounge before dinner without having to order once the crew found what our preferences were. Having the cabin stocked with your choice of liquor in addition to the usual soft drinks, beer and waters was a nice touch. The all-inclusive price (except for shore excursions and duty free shop) was a great convenience and made the price of the cruise a good value.
While not inexpensive, Seabourn gives you a good return on your investment in a high end cruise.
Standard size stateroom, but very well appointed. Service was very attentive
