Cruising in the summer. Never did we think we would take a cruise during the summer months. Being from Michigan, the summers are the best time of the year.
But cruise during the summer we did.
The weather was hot, hoter, hotest. There was never any let-up with the heat. But we loved it. It was shorts, bathing suits, and shorts again. Not a cloud in the sky.
Cruising during the winter months, you hope for good weather and most of the time you get it. You dont want to waste a sunny day so get out on deck and get a chair. Not this cruise, it was always sunny and hot. You had to get some relief after awhile.
The ports were great and did i say hot. Went scuba diving in Grand Cayman and got to dive the Kittywake. No wet suit required.
Belize is kind of a waste. You tender in from 4 miles out and alot of folk decided to stay on board and enjoy the sun.
Rotan is work in progress. Went Zip Lining and to a beach.
Cozumel Again More went scuba diving. Best dive ever. Again no wet suit. Was a drift dive. It was magnificent. The water was oh so clear and the wild and plant life was incredible.
The Valor is a beautiful ship. Its decor is one of the best at Carnival. See how many presidents you can find. The ship is very clean and well kept.
The steak house was just ok. Best desert in the history of Carnival.
Envelope please. Melting Chocolate cake.
The weather was perfect, the Ship was great. Would I cruise again in the Summer.
Where do we sign up. Less
