We arrived at Rome airport and were greeted by Celebrity staff and when we had retrieved our bags they were taken by Celebrity to be transported to the ship we were then taken to our coach for the 65 minute transfer to the port the whole procedure was so smooth and efficient
On arrival at the port we had no waiting time and were on the ship very quickly we then went to have lunch in the Ocean view which was excellent before going to our stateroom our bags arrived within an hour
The ship is beautiful our stateroom on the starboard side was very comfortable and we relaxed before the ship sailed for our first port Santorini
Our room was in a good situation not far from the elevators down past the card room it was very quiet very clean and spacious perfect side of ship on this itinerary as we had the best views especially in Istanbul we did have to ask for ice to be left as normally that is automatic
Very comfortable bed and pillows adequate hanging space a bit short on drawers though!
