Embarkation

Considering they get 2800 people off by 10.00, clean and restock and then get 2800 people back on and ready to sail by 17.00 I would have to say the embarkation process is not far short of miraculous.

We got on a coach at the main entrance and were driven half a mile to the huge air-conditioned "tent" alongside the ship. After dumping our cases we queued for five minutes, filled out a health declaration, had a couple of complimentary biscuits and a cold drink and then queued for another 5 minutes to register our Credit Card and get our Ship Pass. Next thing we knew we were alongside the gang-plank being handed a cold towel and then ushered inside.

The cabin was much bigger than I had expected.

There was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and decent overhead cupboards above the bed to supplement the 5 or 6 small drawers. There were 3 sockets : 2 x European and 1 x USA (or vice versa) and a decent hair dryer.

The 32" television had a very good selection of information and free films but a limited selection of "normal" channels.

The bathroom is well designed and cleverly uses every inch of space. The shower cubicle itself had sliding doors and was big enough in which to bend over without hitting one's head on the wall. The bathroom cabinet had a socket for electric shaver / electric toothbrush.
