This was actually the 2nd time on this particular ship -- previously when it was Renaissance in 2001.
Love the size of ship with less than 700 passengers. Love that fact that you don't have the continuous overhead announcements and picture taking. Very personalized service both in the cabins, dining room and through out.
Due to the capacity, getting off and back on the ship was easy. This particular cruise was very busy as only 1 or 2 days at sea and the rest in various ports. I took the opportunity to fly to Moscow for the day from St. Petersburg which was very worthwhile.
All the tours were very well organized and interesting. Yes, maybe a little more pricey but it was a vacation -- someone else took care of everything!
The food was quite good and varied in the dining room and extraordinary in the specialty restaurants. Just sorry that access is limited by level of accommodations.
I enjoyed this ship so much, will be going on it a 3rd time in February to Australia/New Zealand!
