Pre-cruise stay. Stayed at Holiday Inn on the beach. It is an older hotel but adequate for a pre or post cruise stay.

Embarkation. Arrived shortly after 11 a.m. A fairly large line had already started. Process went smoothly and we were in our cabin just after noon. Elite cruisers were allowed to the front of the line.

Cabin. R-722 was nicely laid out with a small covered balcony. Located near the rear of the ship. A short walk to the aft pool and also to the Horizon Buffet which we used every day for breakfast. Storage space was also good. Lamberto from Philippines was our room steward and he seemed to be there whenever we had a need. He offered to leave a fruit bowl every day if wanted. Also you can ask for covers for the deck chairs or for housecoats. Mornings on the balcony were a highlight.
