This was our first cruise and we saved and craved for this retirement cruise to Alaska. We embarked in Vancouver and it took 3 hours to get to our cabin. The disorganization was appalling as we waited in one line that was comprised of all three Princess cruises embarking for different destinations.

Our cabin was lovely as were all personnel involved. The food, however, left much to be desired unless you are a pbj, tuna fish, egg salad sandwich lover who also doesn't mind eating lots of bread and salad. Choices were minimal even in the dining rooms.

We pre-arranged three excursions, our first being in Juneau where we were to visit a glacier museum and go zip lining. Due to yet another case of disorganization, it took us two hours to disembark, cutting our glacier visit by 45 minutes. The zip lining was spectacular, though.
