From start to finish - the best holiday ever. Food wonderful, lovely table for 2 in Oriental Restaurant. Breakfasted in Peninsular and had some in cabin/ on balcony. Drinks on board not expensive at all. +Gorgeous cabin loads of room and such a comfy bed. Plenty storage space. Full size bath with lovely goodies in it. Nice extra touches such as the chox, champagne, fruit, canapes etc. Superior De-Luxe balcony, everything we expected and more. Most staff lovely. Enjoyed dining in17 twice, the food there was amazing. Sindhu not bad but husband not too keen. Glass house wine flight and small dishes fab. Renewal of Vows ceremony with Captain Dowds was so lovely as was the treatment we had from everyone, made to feel really special. Enjoyed our 3 one day passes for Retreat but thought it a bit pricey, lovely being in an empty pool tho! Paid to use Thermal suite but had not been told there was Sauna and Steam room in both male and female changing rooms - bit naughty. Some Port Info:  Madeira really pretty, cable car in Funchal is a must. Pretty town. The wine and cake worth sampling :-)Camel riding on Gran Canaria fantastic trip. Visited lovely beach too. Didn't go to the port. Day trip on Tenerife and to Mount Teide lovely but wish we could have stopped and gone up in the cable car. Lovely meal included in excursion and time in port. The tiny island of La Palma De Canaria was so pretty, trip in a luxury coach complete with on-board lounge. Stops along the way being served champagne by the accompanying waitress and stunning scenery. Another delicious meal included. Got back to ship with minutes to spare before departure!  All in all, this, our first cruise was wonderful. An experience worth waiting the 2 years we had to for it, due to deaths of both our Mum's and husband being diagnosed with cancer last year. We had to reschedule cruise from last Aug due to chemo sessions then he had massive surgery. Can't wait for next cruise - do we stay with the wonderful P and O or do we try another line!!!! Decisions decisions. Azura is beautiful xxxx
