Ship Facts: Disney Dream Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Disney Dream Deck Plans
Worth it every penny
EMBARKATION: Very organized, lines were moving very smoothly, but we arrived 9am in the morning and we were the first ones there, so we had to wait until 11am to enter the terminal.

ARRIVING ONBOARD: It is an impressive and beautiful ship. As you arrive they welcome you by announcing your family name, a very special touch, they make you feel special. first thing we did was put on our swimsuits and ride the Aqua duck. What an amazing water coaster, and being on a ship makes it even more amazing. Free ice creams and sodas were a great touch. rooms were ready by 1:30pm as they promised

CABINS: Rooms were very well kept, roomy, a lot of closet and draw space, the suitcases fit underneath the bed, great idea. The flat screen T.V. was great because you could move it in any direction. The double bathroom was a great feature only Disney has, and tons of towels and self space.

DINING: All three restaurants were absolutely amazing, the food was light and delicious, if you did not like a dish, they would gladly bring you something to your likes. Because the servers rotate with you through the restaurants, by the second day they call you by your name and your favorite beverages are waiting for you on your table. We had all three meals per day at the restaurants because the service was fast and we did not have any reason to stand on line and get our own food at the buffet. But we heard from friends that the food there was excellent.

ENTERTAINMENT: We saw all three shows and we LOVED all of them, but our favorite was "Villains". Bingo was as fun as it could get, but the the comedian was just okay. One of the best things on board was the Mickey's Pirate Party, an energetic and amazing party. Young and old were dancing to the music and then .... FIREWORKS!!!!! What an amazing night.

We also saw in 3D Pirates of the Caribbean "on stranger tides" the premiere of the movie, great theater and great acoustics!!

SERVICE: Our stewardess Wana was amazing at taking care of the Cabin and us, and would make towel animals for us every night. One night she made us a dog and put my husbands eyeglasses, what a touch!!

Our table server Yasmen and her helper Muriel, I hope that I spell their names correct, were the best. They new our names after our first meal, and they were delightful. Well worth it the extra tips we gave them.

EDGE: My daughter loved her club, they had great fun, High tech computers and games, great activities. The only problem, not enough time to do everything that was available.

DEBARGATION: Was a breeze, we just walk out after breakfast at the enchanted garden. 10 minutes later we were on the bus on our way to the Animal kingdom resort.

BAD POINTS: The only bad point, and it was not Disney's fault, we did not stop at Castaway Cay. We were so disappointed, but "Irene" had damaged the island and we could not go there.

GOOD POINTS: Everything was great. From the cleanness of the ship to the service, were the superb. There was nothing too much to make you happy, maybe Disney are more expensive cruise than other cruise lines, but they do worth the extra money. You can bring your own wine or liquor, soda is free and the prices of the drinks and can sodas on board are very reasonable.

LAST THOUGHTS: If you are a couple with out kids, Disney may be not your best choice. But if you do have kids, I do not know any other better way to cruise, it is magical!!!!!
