This was our first time cruising and we have mixed reactions. We loved some things about it including the upper deck for sunning and reading. We also enjoyed the endless ice cream and the pizza bar was great. The frozen drinks were delicious. The cabin was kept very clean and the staff was friendly. The fitness area was very nice with good showers.

Now for the dislikes. We had heard a lot about how good cruise food was and we were mildly disappointed. We encountered fairly long line ups at the buffets but the food was decent. We were disappointed in the Ecstasy dining room. We weren't able to get the table size or seating that we requested despite it being a special occasion. The maitre d was not helpful in making the change. The food in the dining room was the same as the buffet, with a few special exceptions each night. Ours wasn't the best.... tough meat and cold most of the time. The servers were friendly and tried their best.

The pool area was terrible. There was only one pool that was always overcrowded. The behaviour around the pool was raunchy and not at all family oriented. The hot tubs were always full with people who stayed in them far too long. The slide and splash pad area was fun for the kids and a good place to cool off. There is a mini golf area and a shuffleboard area but they are worn out and in need of upgrading.
