Thomson Celebration ship - Aegean Adventure cruise
Day 1, flight from bristol left a 7am, to marmaris, 3hr 50m arrived in dalaman, directed through the airport and straight onto a coach, boy it was hot, had researched the trip before going, had 2 bottles of water off the plane, need them. Coach journey to Marmaris was about 1hr 30, very hot little air conditioning, bags off the coach and into registration, left bags with cabin tags on and boarded the ship, (bags will arrive in cabin later on) all i can say this was very slick, no hassle, on arrival of the ship, hand wash on entry, and everywhere you went on or off the ship hand wash every meal, very clean, because we arrived early we got to go around the ship, and spotted level 10 top of the ship is the best place to sun bathe, very clean and all the staff were very polite,
bad points of the cruise, bit outdated especially the shower,
good points clean and very tidy,
happy staff always trying to help
cost of drinks - just like the local pub
food - no matter where you went to eat plenty and good quality
tons to do during the day if you want no nagging from staff
show - professional done - just like the west end
no nagging about the trip - your choice
information while on the trips was brillant they knew there stuff
sun bed plenty though day at sea they were a limited
cinema, internet, quiet corners, casino, shops, tv, eu sockets
for your ipod and chargers
all i can say is that you arrive on ship and your encased in a little bubble and all the worries are lost, i am a convert and looking forward to the next cruise and on the same ship it was a truly a "celebration" holiday
