Fantastic Allure of the Seas

Sail Date: August 2011
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

This was our first experience of cruising, and did we pick the biggest cruise liner in the world to start with. The allure is classy and beautiful thoughout. The attention to detail is second to none. The food in the adagio was beautiful and the waiters nickolay, sudiwran and ted were great. The rising tide was a unique point on the ship, it was bar that went up 3 floors of the ship whilst your having a drink.

The bow and stern was a great bar, and Melina the waitress was a joy.

Theo was our room attendant, and made us laugh every night coming back to the room as he made different animals with towels which he used to place around the room.

If you do want to see a show on the allure be sure to book online before you go as these were all booked up when we got on the ship, which was very annoying.

Everything about the Allure was a joy, except for 1 thing which we were not informed about was that;

YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR IRONING, THERE IS NO More IRONING ROOM ON BOARD FOR YOU DO IT YOURSELF. Less

Cabin review: Allure of the Seas Oceanview Stateroom Deck 3 9678

The cabin we had, has a seaview with a balcony. The wardrobe could have been a bit bigger, but apart from that the room was fine and the bed was really big and comfortable.

Port and Shore Excursions

Cozumel was very freindly, we took a taxi into the centre of cozumel which costs $7. All the shops sell the same things.

We swam in the port which was a joy as you could see the full extent of the ship as you were swimming.

There is also a great bar there called senior frogs, with a little beach area and sun loungers.

The port of falmouth was small and most of the shops that were in the port were jewellery shops.

Saying that the people of jamacia make you feel welcome and make you smile, and the dancers in the centre of the port were fantastic.
