We got an extra night at sea due to hurricane. Celebrity would not refund night's cost/gratuities if cruise was cut short, and added extra gratuities when cruise was extended by one day. Tours could not be refunded when there was threat of 2 days at port instead of 3. "we can't give you a refund because we have to try to sell your ticket to someone else.!" Also, the pools and hot tubs were closed during the extra day at sea although it was sunny with mild water and buffets closed early. They ran lots of "shopping" contests. Food in dining rooms were small portions, well prepared, unusual soups. Food in buffets were typical. Entertainment on extra night was put together quickly and lasted 40 minutes...not so good. Lots of bars with mediocre singers - violin trio was interesting, but boring - entertainment geared for older crowd. We had threat of hurricane and show theme was the Titanic which wasn't so comforting. Ship is maintained, but dated. Bingo was reasonable, except you have to buy markers. Somethings should be included - didn't care for nickel and dime charges. Beverage packages are pricey. People "reserved" lounge chairs with towels around the pool for the entire day often not using them while others had to use upper deck away from pool and facilities ...indoor pool is for adults...outdoor pool and hot tubs filled with kids. Concierge class was not worth it...you get 6 one inch canapes (thin bread with cheez whiz type topping) that are available at the buffet, one bottle of champagne, fresh fruit (also available at the buffet), and one time fresh flowers that wilted by day 5. Toilets were clogged for 2 days which meant using public toilets 2 flights down. Read on previous posts that plumbing was issue too. Tours are overpriced....there are plenty of eager tour operators as soon as you get off the boat. Oleanda scooters were ok...they let people who couldn't steer take off with one try. If you buy a scooter package which you might have to cancel due to weather, be prepared not to get the same package if weather improves $50 per day plus mandatory $30 insurance, which you have to pay again if you cancel due to weather then rebook. We rented a 2 person scooter and saved $79 per person to tour the island which the tour charges and we got to stop and take pictures rather than "ride by".
