We have cruised many times -- mostly with Royal Caribbean, which we like a lot. This was our second Celebrity cruise. Now Celebrity is our favorite. Our first Celebrity was last November on Equinox - loved it. I usually tell people that I just pick a really nice ship and do not really care where it is going. I enjoy the ships as much as the destination. This trip was different. Had never been to Alaska, so knew I wanted to go on either a RCCI or Celebrity, and liked the idea of sailing in and out of Seattle. Celebrity Infinity filled the bill.

We arrived in Seattle on Weds evening for our Friday departure. Stayed at the Marriott Waterfront. I had called the hotel prior to arrival and was told they have a shuttle service that will take passengers to cruise terminal for $8. That sounded good. When checked into hotel learned that our cruise terminal was right across the street from the hotel and on departure day the bellman just loaded our luggage on a hotel cart and walked us across the street. It was great!

Marriott Waterfront is a great location. Easy walking to all harborside restaurants, activities, harbor cruises and to Pike Market. Be sure to eat a meal at Crepes de France in Pike Market, and sit at the counter where you can watch all the crepes prepared. Highly recommend the salmon crepe and of course any of the fresh fruit crepes.

Stateroom 9101 was good location - near elevators and food areas.
