We have just returned from 14 day Baltic cruise. The destinations were tremendous especially St Petersburg and Tallin.

The ship was excellent. The crew were helpful the whole time and I cannot speak highly enough of all bar staff. No one got tips per drink (as opposed to Royal Caribbean) and all service was first class.

The cabin was spotless. All bed linen changed daily. Staff were always on hand for any queries.

The captain was great. He gave daily reports and was often seen in the lounges and restaurants (by the way he dances to the Rolling Stones).

The entertainment was very good and mixed. One young chap, Jamie Clarke, had an excellent voice and very funny.

The port organisation and trips was first class. There was a member of staff on every trip (as well as the guide).

There were no jeans on formal night as someone had posted for a previous cruise. Everyone was very smart.

Food quantities were not enormous in the main restaurants and if you want extra helpings go to the Palm Cafe buffet.

Overall a highly recommended cruise with excellent staff.

Cabin review: Premier Suite

Port and Shore Excursions

St Petersburg is awesome as an experience. Fantastic history, unbelievable palaces and art, and a very interesting culture bearing in mind the history of the last 20 years
