Copenhagen

We flew SAS from Newark non-stop to Copenhagen economy - very nice service, drinks free of charge during meals, food very good for airline fare. Reminded me of bygone days in the US. These days we make a habit of flying foreign carriers and it paid off again! Early arrivals in both directions.

We purchased the Copenhagen Card before leaving, which is highly recommended if you spend a few days in Copenhagen in advance as we did. Very frequent and efficient train service, hop on/hop off buses and admission to almost every venue in the City. We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel for about $170 per night, located about a 10 minute walk from the Central Train Station but a bus was available right at the hotel door to get you into the transit system.
