My family and I embarked on the Millennium from Seward in early August. The ship is due for a refurbishment next year and looks a bit tired around the edges, but is still in fine shape. Our concierge class cabin was good with a flat screen TV, nice bedding and a decent sized bathroom. There were some scratches on the balcony glass, otherwise everything looked great. I only saw a one or two places in the common areas that obviously need renovating and nothing to that affected our enjoyment.

Our son took part in the Celebrity kids programs most days and always looked forward to it. The kids program was very good for the 9-11 ages and the other ages looked like they were having fun as well. Many times in the evening we would find the kids playing games or doing projects in the Ocean Cafe with all of the kids enjoying themselves. A lot of games and scavenger hunts with downtime (only) on Rockband.

The food and service in the Metropolitan Club were excellent with a good variety of continental and healthy cuisine. My only disappointment was ironically the salmon which was a bit too bland for me. The Ocean Club had enough variety, although the menus did not vary much day to day. It was good for breakfast each morning. We had anytime dining with a standing reservation at the Metropolitan Club and that worked well. The formal night's dress was all over the map. No one looked out of place from jackets to black tie. This cafeteria was much better than our experience on a Princess ship.
