the cruise itself was perfect... perfect weather, perfect company, etc. food was good, lines were manageable.

Arrived in port at 5am to learn that our flights were canceled, and we spent several hours calling car rental agencies to find a one-way rental to drive to Ohio. Found a Dollar Merc Grand Marquis... great battleship to drive home. Cost $450 for one day's drive!

And a hint to non-nyc people... departing from the NYC cruise terminal, after you exit from US Customs, you will see several burly gentlemen standing just outside the entryway, hawking 8 passenger limo rides to the airport car rental. Sounded good to us, as it was about the same price as a cab ride for the four of us.
