My husband and I are 1st time cruisers. Overall it was a great experience. Stayed overnight in Seattle at a hotel which had a park, cruise & shuttle rate. Easy trip to the pier. Had previously arranged for a wheelchair for my Mom who was traveling with my Sister. We spoke to a security officer about the prior arrangement, he located the wheelchair and the pier assistant. My husband quickly found a porter, he loaded our luggage and we managed to get through all the other passengers quickly, the pier assistant clearing the way with the wheelchair. Zipped right thru pre boarding and on the ship within 15 minutes. We went to the Windjammer for lunch. Pleased with the selection and quality of food. One drawback, very crowded and difficult to find a seat. When we finished with lunch we walked around the ship a bit exploring. We were informed our stateroom was ready about 1:00. Our luggage arrived mid afternoon which was a pleasant surprise, we had read our luggage may not make it until much later. We were very satisfied with the room and loved the balcony. The sofa was a bit worn, but acceptable.
Our shore excursions were fine, we did the tourist thing in Juneau, Skagway and Victoria. Interesting and informative.
The early dinner seating was great. Good menu selection, good service.
Great cabin, location, a bit worn but comfortable.
