Eclipse-beautiful!

Crew-friendly, effecient, nothing was too much.

Food excellent. If anyone complains then i do not know what they expect. Meat absolutely delicious, loads of healthy options-so much so that no weight has been gained.

As we had so many ports of call we did not get to use the ship facilities that much. However, loads of lovely and comfortable seats, sofas, garden furniture everywhere. Lots of sun loungers-yes the sun did shine. Absolutely wonderful were the automatic doors-no pushing against the wind.

Staterooms roomy-although overhead on beds could prove a problem for those less able. Showers lovely. TV could do with an actual list as to what was on each channel and what time. Some of the entertainment was so so but you cannot please everybody all the time. However, my highlight was Greg Scott-violinst.

Shuttles were a little naughty-having to pay when there was no other way to leave the Port area is a bit underhand. More also-watch your bills-charged for tonic waters at dinner when we only had tap water. All sorted, however, very quickly.

Lost an earring and it was waiting for me.

Would I go on Eclipse again? Absolutely.

Used Denrus for Russia-fabulous and no trouble leaving the ship. Less

Port and Shore Excursions

A long long day but saw all the main sights. Not enough time at each but enough for photos.

Been there twice so stayed on ship!

Tivoli-if not going on rides be prepared for quaint, gardens , cafes and gift shops. A little expensive to get in but you just have to go! Again-a lot of walking and not a lot of bridges over canals so a lot of back tracking.

Bus to Sibelius Park and then walked and walked! Olympic stadium not open at present. Prettier than we thought.

Stunning. Should really have had 3 nights her so that more time could have been spent at each place. Going to a souvenir shop before we had even started was one downside and the other was being rushed through The hermitage-the coach driver was about 40 mins late collecting us after lunch and this did mar things a little. Did not see Cruiser Aurora as expected but did everything else-even the metro. Guide though Denrus-Maria-was fabulous.

Not enough to see all there is-especially if walking. Expensive but guess what-walked and walked again! The passage out of port was magnificent.

Walked and walked again-don't bother with shuttle and buy gifts on way back to ship at port. Large choice and god prices.
