Let me start out saying this was one of the most relaxing vacations that we have ever taken. There is something to say about the beauty of nature and the calming effect it has on a person.

We started our trip in Seattle staying at the Hilton downtown, by the way The National Car Rental in the hotel provides a free shuttle to the pier, the hotel was a great location to enjoy the amenities that Downtown Seattle has to offer. Strolling through Pikes Market was great and what can I say , the flowers were just so beautiful. They are everywhere. Had lunch at the market and Dinner at Elliot's down by the water. Both restaurants served wonderful seafood.

As many on this board stated embarkation was a breeze. We arrived at the pier after utilizing the free shuttle at 11:15 and we were on board and in our stateroom by 11:45. Our luggage arrived and was placed in the stateroom by 12:30. We were a group of 6 with adjoining cabins. We opened the balcony doors between us so it was really great to be able to move between the staterooms. We lunched at the Horizon Court. Throughout the cruise the food here was what I expected and did exceed expectations at times. Staff was attentive most of the time with beverage service. There were times we did have to self serve but that was Ok.
