Ship Facts: Review (by Cruise Critic!)
7 girlies on a cruise
I met up with my friends at Newcastle the staff here were helpful and we were soon on board. My suitcase was in my room but first upstairs for a drill, [at least we all looked the same with our life jackets on].

After this we sat drinking the daily cocktail [which changed every day] £3.50 well worth it, and we set sail. Down in our cabins we were surprised to find we had a port hole so daylight, as they had up graded for us. the cabin was bright and clean and had a tv. We unpacked, got dressed up and went up for more drinks, we were given a credit style card to pay for things on board ship.

Onto our nightly evening meal in the Kensington Restaurant we sat every night at table 22 and meet up with a lovely couple from Darlington. The service and food was out of this world, the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful.A small jug of wine at the table held 2 glasses and was £5. Onto the evening entertainment this could of been better some nights, but generally was watchable. Breakfast was buffet or served and was great omelets and fried eggs done fresh for you and lots of choice, we sat outside on the back of the ship in a covered area. Lunch was the same buffet or service and snacks came at various times.
There was plenty to do on board as the first day is at sea. To look out of the window at 12.30am and it is so light is strange. We arrived at the fjords and they are amazing as was all the places we visited. The North Sea was a bit choppy but this is not unusual. The only thing I was not happy with was being dropped back in Leith and we had to pay for a coach down to Newcastle which seemed odd.

BUT 7 GIRLIES BETWEEN 48 - 58 WENT ON A 5DAY CRUISE ON THE OCEAN COUNTESS AND HAD THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES
