Food: amazing! There's something for everyone. The dinners in the Golden Pearl were fantastic! Our server wasn't the friendliest but not a big deal to us. Everyone in our party ordered something different and we were always pleased. A sure bet is the flat iron steak on the 'Everyday' menu. On the Lido deck, the Indian food was awesome; the sandwich area by the adult pool was so good and made to order. The Golden Pearl serves lunch daily and is very good - a sit down and get served set up. We found their serving portions were generous and had the same good quality of the evening dining. BEWARE!! The buffet desserts are terrible! Dry and just not the good. I found the cookies on the second to last day and they were very good. The desserts in the dining room were amazing! The Warm Melting Cake was good, but very rich! Souffle's and bread pudding were great and also the Creme Brulee!!
Entertainment: The music on the deck is extremely LOUD and very annoying. You couldn't hold a conversation with the noise. It kept us away from that area. Also, music was lacking on the whole ship. Even in the dance club, it was older music. The little combo's were weak also. Too many older songs played. Overall we were disappointed in the entertainment. The Vegas-style show 'Vroom' was good! Don't miss the comedians - they are very funny! There was one who was offensive by referring to 'faggots' and 'retards', but the others were fantastic! There were fun games for families. Bingo was a rip-off! You had to pay for the cards and they were expensive. The first bingo night we paid $10 for one card and then it was announced that they were only playing ONE game!
Stateroom: This was the best part of the cruise! Clean, roomy and the bed was very comfortable! Also, ice was always waiting for us! Excursions: Booking thru the cruise line was much more expensive, so we booked them ourselves. Los Veranos Zip Line tour was great. Professional, safe, and a great time! Highly recommend them. Bring bug spray!!! Salsa and Salsa (in Cabo) was a great time, but very over priced at $99 each. Not worth the money, but fun none the less. We had no trouble tendering off the ship in Cabo. Best to take a water taxi to the beach area. We were cheap and decided to walk - and it was a very long walk in the humid heat! We paid $3 each for the return water taxi and it was worth it. Rented a Jet Ski for $40 for 30 mins. No deposit, no problems.
Great cabin! The TV remote had to be held just a few feet from the TV so we couldn't use it from the bed! Comfortable, clean, and quiet.
