August 12 - 24, 2011

Our vacation along with our aunt/uncle started in Barcelona, 2 days prior to the boarding the ship. We enjoyed the on/off tour bus that took us throughout Barcelona and up into the Olympic Village. We walked daily thru La Rambla and deliberately got lost thru the narrow streets so we could enjoy all the scenery (churches, bars, restaurants etc) and we had one too many Bocadillo sandwiches - enjoying the Serrano Iberia Prosciutto.

The Solstice cruise was wonderful. We had a port side room which gave us a great view of each port we were entering. Staff was very helpful and always smiling. They were respectful and always willing to help.

Cabin 1225 - was perfect and offered enough room to move around and had lots of space for storage. Great location - port side, mid ship on deck 10
