Precruise: After cruising down I-95 for many hours and stopping at many rest stops, we finally arrived in Miami around 5pm. We checked into our hotel, La Quinta Inn and Suites Miami Airport West, and headed down to South Beach just to see what it was like! Being a teenager, I thought it was quite disgusting and not a good place to take kids. Older men were walking around in speedos, and lots of drunk/sketch people. The one thing I regret was the day the cruise departed, JUSTIN BIEBER WAS IN SOUTH BEACH!

Day 1: After having breakfast at the hotel (which only consisted of waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc.) we headed down to the cruise ship terminal around 10:15 and got to the terminal at 10:30. Lots of people were there already checking in, so don't think getting there at 10:30 is too early! We tipped the porter $10 for 5 bags and waited for my dad to park the car! Make sure you have your passports in hand, because the lady checks them about 30 seconds after you go in the building.

We brought in 2-12 packs of water and about 8 gatorades and of course they broke the plastic and were shaking the bottles. What 11 year old girl (my sister) would be carrying alcohol in it?? Anyways, we went to the kiosk and scanned our passports which took about 5 minutes for all 6 people. Then we waited in a 10 minute line and got our seapass cards!!!
