We wanted a change from the yearly Gold Holidays and my partner reached the age of 60 so instead hotelling it was cruising for the first time.
we thought it was brilliant,nice ship although getting a bit old,but kept it very clean.(your cabin steward keeps your bed and cabin clean)
nice cabin on deck 8,upgraded to Pemier Cabin.lovely view from there but it seems to be THE SMOKERS DECK and they sit in front of you window,a bit annoying. the air conditioning can be adjusted in your cabin and was fine.
OUR CABIN 8038 PREMIER CABIN IN DECK WAS BRILLIANT FOR US,FREE VIEW.
KEPT VERY CLEAN,BED KEPT CLEAN AND CHANGED,SAME WITH TOWELS ETC.
AS I WROTE IN MY COMMENTS:DECK SEEMS TO BE A SMOKERS DECK,NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT PEOPLE SIT IN FRONT OF YOUR WINDOW WHICH MEANS NO VIEW.
