a late review by 6 months but we just returned from med cruise with party of six on the epic Aug 2011 and written review which made me want to write one for jade.

we have visited canary islands for last 8 yrs at new year but due to nature of my new job it isn't possible, so 9 nights in Feb on a too good to be true priced cruise? we thought we would try it. we have sailed on Carnival cruise lines twice so now we had a comparison. What a lovely ship the jade is and what sold it for us were two things in comparison to carnival -food stations - no lines, seems less hectic and the cabins are situated away from the entertainment. we also ate at two other restaurants one which is open 24hrs which were excellent.

we were situated over a karaoke bar on carnival that didn't close until 3am!! OK if they were good singers, i think im brilliant with a drink in me and i sound like lulu when i belt out SHOUT!!. Shows were enjoyable they must of been as my husband prefers the bar usually but i managed to drag him along and had no complaints afterwards!!
