My wife and I took the New England/Canada cruise on the Carribean Princess and rated the experience a solid B.

The ship was great. Very clean and polished. Our steward Ricardo was very attentive but not overly friendly. We had anytime dining so we could meet other travelers and that worked our well. The food was average with the exception of the Italian night and, of course, the desserts. We found the buffet to be mediorce at best.

The entertainment was very good. Several lounge acts that performed in the Piazsza were better than some of the headliners. Our biggest complaint was that the tours were too short. We docked at Halifax and went to Peggy's Cove which was beautiful. However, we only had 90 minutes there so after a quick lunch and a wait in the restroom line, we had 30 minutes to see the sights. Same thing in Saint John.
