Our traveling and gambling partners picked us up about 1:00 PM on Thursday 8/18, we arrived at the Cruise Terminal about 1:15 PM. There were very few people waiting to board so we just zoomed on board. Boarding Carnival ships at Port Canaveral is always a breeze. All the cruise lines should take lessons here.

We took our carry-on baggage to our deck 6 midships cabin and met our room steward Sergiu from Moldova (a small country between Romania and the Ukraine). Sergiu turned out to be an outstanding room steward, out of sight, and the room was always ready for us.

We then went to the Lido deck to have some lunch. I had my usual hamburger and French fries - Carnival has French fries that are as good as the best anywhere in the U. S. Sadly, after the port visit to Nassau, the Lido was full of flies, even the day after. The deli sandwiches are always good.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

Location has some background noise. Hallway very noisy around 3:00 AM because of other passengers. Closet doors need stops to prevent loud wood against wood noises when they close - small rubber stops would cost less than $0.25 per cabin to fix this problem.
