Ship Facts: Celebrity Eclipse Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Eclipse Deck Plans
Not to be Eclipsed
What a wonderful ship and staff. Our cruise from Southampton on the Celebrity Eclipse was everything we expected it to be. We have come off relaxed and refreshed and have already booked for next year.

We were in an Aqua class cabin and therefore our dining room was Blu. Even though it is open seating, we never had to wait for a table. The food is American in style, in other words don't expect roast meat swimming in gravy with roasties and lots of veg. The healthy stuff is served as a salad for the second course and the entree is just the steak with a bit of dressing, no chips, onion rings or peas that we are used to having over here.

That said Celebrity have made a concession to British tastes and a bowl of veg is available if you want it!!

Cabins. Quite small as on any cruise ship, but adequate storage. Suitcases fit under the bed after you have unpacked. Nice bathroom and shower.

Public Rooms. Decorated with muted colours. Plenty of live music through the ship. Piped music not very obtrusive. Deliberate policy of limited PA announcements.

Pools - Crowded on sunny sea days. Summer in the med, would you expect otherwise!!! The solarium was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing.

Entertainment. 3 major shows and solo performers on other nights. From Russian contortionists to British comedians and Irish flautist there was something to everyone's taste. Lots of lectures, trivia and bingo during the day.
