Ship Facts: Carnival Paradise Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Paradise Deck Plans
Great First time Cruiser
The embarking process was easy and smooth.

Once on the ship there was an awkward smell, but this went away in a matter of hours. The ship was pleasantly nice and clean. Very well kept.

The staff was nice and helpful, they were always asking if we needed anything as we walked around the ship.

The food is okay depending what you are used to eating and the quality of service you are used to. For the most part the cafe was convenient on our first day. We did not eat at the restaurant the first night, we ate at the buffet. My husband seem to really love the Ice cream aboard the ship.

The rooms were a nice size for two people. We had an ocean view, it was nice to have and worth paying extra for. Our room attendant Manuel was excellent, we did tip him extra, he earned it.

Once in Ensenada Mexico, we did the beach excursion... Not really a lot to say about lying on the Beach, it was exactly that. The ride to the beach was very boring and the view of Ensenada was not clean, the bus smelled awful. The announcer Miguel was very knowledgeable, and funny. Papas and Bear is a nice club I would imagine at night, so if your looking for a party you will not find it during the day. We ate tacos and had a few Margarita, which were okay. Our driver recommend we only purchase goods from Fidel. Please do not.. we got tattoos that washed off immediately... $45 down the drain. There were lots of vendors trying to sell you stuff all day, after a while they left us a lone.

The next day the ship stayed at sea. We hung out on the lido deck, there was entertainment, and contests, this was fun to watch. Later we ate at the resturant the food was good, not a huge portion, but you could order more than one dish at a time.

Later that night we dance at the Rex Club. This was great, the music was great for all ages really. There were other clubs as well according to your taste.

We took advantage of what all the ship had to offer us. We enjoyed our first cruise on the Carnival Paradise. We have decided to take our kids next summer.

I highly recommend this cruise if it's your first time cruising. You will love it.
