Sail Date: Jul 2011

We sailed on Oasis the week of July 30th. My husband and I, two daughters (21 & 19) sister, brother-in-law and niece (22) vacationed together. The three girls shared a Central Park balcony room. Husband & I had a Deck 10 ocean view room. We had an early morning flight & were on the ship by 12:00 pm Saturday. Couldn't believe how quick & efficent Royal makes the whole process.

As we entered the Promenade, I couldn't believe we were on a cruise ship! We headed up to the pool deck to look around & had lunch at the Windjammer. It was crowded, but not crazy & we found a table easily. The food was good too. Our rooms were ready at 1:00 & our luggage was there too. The girls waited a couple hours longer for luggage, so keep a swimsuit with you. We had a drink on the Rising Tide Bar & then went to the pool. It was the first cruise for everyone in my group but me & we were all excited when the ship started to sail away.

Saw the aqua show, Oasis of Dreams the first night. It was an amazing production & had some very talented divers! I loved it! People came out of the water I didn't know had been in the water. Don't miss it.

Cabin Review

We were in 10530. Room was beautiful, plenty of room. The closet actually was nice with shelves, etc. The sofa in the room was not very confortable. Could have been deeper & softer. Otherwise we loved it.
