We cruised the week of August 6, 2011.
Embarkment was well organized and went very smoothly.
Lunch on the Lido deck was a bit crowded with the 3000 people coming on at similar times.
Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas was our first stop. Tendering over went quick and easy! It was beautiful there. Plenty of chairs, the lunch/barbecue was well planned, tables to eat at were available. A beautiful spot, beautiful waters!!!
Day at sea we did the wine tasting and pairing. $15/person for 45 mins and well worth it. Very informative-5 wines/foods to taste with.
St Thomas-took the excursion to St. John for beach and snorkeling. Great boat ride over, informative, stops for pictures, kids loved the snorkeling-great choice!
Puerto Rico we walked to the fort. Hot, hot, hot-great breeze at top. Went to the Butterfly shop, and had lunch at the convent. Good day!!!
Next day was Grand Turk. Nice beach, go to Margarita-ville side as there are a More lot of rocks on the other side in the water. Lots of lounge chairs for everyone. Small shops in the area so you could easily go back to the ship with purchases and then back to beach. Late that afternoon we had a couples back massage in the spa. Very nice way to end the day.
Last day at sea was relaxing, pool, shopping, casino, bingo etc.
Food was very good. Always choices. Our head waiter was excellent, her assistants were new or needed more training but she made up for their inadequacies. Our room steward was great. Could never ask for anything as he was ahead of the game.
Got off the boat in record time. Simple, simple, simple, got luggage, transfer and was to air port with much time to spare.
Overall rated the cruise a 9.out of 10. Less
