My wife & I (in our 60's) like to dance our daughter & her boyfriend prefer to relax, read, sing at karaoke,explore archaeoligical sites. We have had nine cruises.

We flew in to Venice and stayed one night at the Courtyard Marriott, this turned out to be exactly what we wanted. A clean, modern room and bathroom with excellent service. They had a free shuttle bus service from the Marco Polo airport a short distance away.The snack bar food at the hotel was adequate.(pizza,pasta etc.)The hotel arranged a mini-bus taxi to take us to the cruise port the following day. There were 4 other passengers on the bus & I think we paid 15 Euros each ( 25 minute ride to port)
