After reading all the reviews for the Magnifica i was very optimistic, but open minded. Unfortunately most of the bad reviews were correct. You must make sure that you have transfers included otherwise you could get ripped off with a taxi fare for 50 euros.

The embarkment was smooth, the staff showed us to our cabin, cases came later. the cabin was very clean and a nice balcony. Our first dinner experience was ok. we sat with 3 other couples which was fine. The food was alright, presentation should have been better, the only decent meals we had in the restaurant was on the 2 gal nights so food in restaurant was dissappointing.

The food in the buffet was the same every day thats breakfast and lunch, the ship itself was lovely, entertainment same every night and not much of it. The ship is italian run so therefore the italians take first place and english last place. Kids go free with MSC and yes there was quite a few, pools there are 2 but for that size of the ship there should have been a lot more as you can imagine very over crowded. Excursions were terribly expensive so we did not do any, MSC just want your money, we took the All Inc package thinking no gratuities, no we had a bill for 100 euros at the end they took 7 euros each every day.
