We have just returned from the gorgeous Baltic on our first trip there with Celebrity Eclipse. This is our second Celebrity cruise and we thought that we would try Aqua class for a change as the Persian garden sounded lovely and we really wanted to try Blu for a meal.

The room was lovely if a little small( by Cunard standards at least ) by the end of the two weeks and I had taken far too many dresses to fit in to the very awkward sliding door wardrobe but the noise was terrible. Each evening we went to bed after a little dance or nice meal and dropped off to sleep beautifully only to be woken up at 4am with great regularity by loud bangs and a scraping noise overhead and this would go on for the rest of our time in bed and it was impossible to get any more sleep without ear plugs so do please be warned if you book this class. Our cabin was no.1543 and as it was on the corner it appeared to be one of the worst for noise but other guests on the same floor told us that they had suffered too an despite Celebrity listening to our complaints very seriously nothing ever changed for the whole two weeks.

The Blu restaurant was lovely , great fun and Vladimir the manager was such a sweetie , nothing was too much trouble for him. we tried the Tuscan Grill twice and loved it particularly when we got a window seat, what a view and Qsine was fun but only do it if you have a fun crowd to go with , it is not the place for a romantic meal for two.
