Great Family Vacation
This was our 4Th annual family cruise this time on the Carnival Valor and once again Carnival did not disappoint.
Embarkation - Port of Miami had the smoothest embarkation. We simply stood in line for the Kiosks brought up our info using the credit card we had on file and then swiped our passports. Once that was done we were handed a receipt that told us what line to wait in for our Sail & Sign Cards. The process was less that 30 minutes.
Grand Cayman - We did a little shopping and then took a cab for $4 per person each way to the beach. The water was beautiful and they had a restaurant on the beach. The cab driver came back and picked us up two hours later and even gave us an impromptu tour.
Mahogany Bay - This is Carnival's private island. The beach near the boat was okay. Water was not as clear but free chairs and umbrellas made up for it.
Belize - Did not get off the boat since I had been there already.
Cozumel - Second time there More as well just did some shopping and and hung out at Fat Tuesday's.
The Valor had the best Lido Deck of the boats I have cruised in. The design was soft and they had signs to tell you where everything was. Their shows were great including the comedy club and Marcus Anthony the Motown singer.
The only thing I did not like was the Pizza. It seemed they have changed the Pizza as it did not taste the same as it did in previous years.
Other than that the Valor was great and we plan to cruise on it again next summer. Less
