Got to the terminal early -- 10 am; had to wait outside, got in and got boarding number 2!!! Asked supervisor about upgrades and we were waitlisted. Embarkation was a breeze, got situated with the spa, excursions, kids' club, ate lunch, did the AquaDuck, went to DVC meeting, dinner first night at Animaters' Palette -- awesome! Great food -- better service. Kruno & Pla -- they were awesome. Back to the room -- excursions had come through -- fishing at CC day 1; then the phone rings -- would you all be interested in an upgrade to Concierge -- Cat OOV? Ummm....yes!!!! Tour the facilities, make arrangements, repack, transfer rooms, unpack and settle in. Disney got the concierge level right! Wow!

Castaway Cay was paradise -- the boys all went on the fishing excursion -- well worth it! We each caught at least 20. The girls slept in and swam. We ate and then met back up to swim some more and then head back to the ship.

Rainforest Spa was worth the extra expense -- we used the heck out of it. The tiled lounge chairs -- I want one at home!

Cabin Review

Cabin V

Cabin was very close to the concierge lounge, but decently far enough away from the "gated" entrance to that level. Very close to the elevators. Room had a double couch bed vs three individual beds like some of the Cat 4's -- but we "made due." Loved the split bathrooms -- but I usually showered in the men's locker room to save time and space -- worked well. Rooms are just above the fitness center and spa -- so that was super convenient, just below the tween club. Can't wait to stay there again!
