Having been on a number of luxury and near luxury cruises over the last ten years I really did not expect much on a quick two night cruise to Freeport and back taking my 85 year old mother=in-law for her birthday so she could gamble. Really pleasantly surprised. First the negative. The staterooms are small and spartan. By the time we booked all of the suites had been booked and we were left with the "larger" ocean view stateroom. Small, no drawer space, no chairs to sit. Notwithstanding they were clean, well maintained. The bathrooms were actually decent size. The adult pool is small, clearly an add on after thought. That 's really it for the negative. The ship in general is old but very well maintained and taken care of. Other than the elevators kind of slow, no issues at all about the ship. The service was excellent, whether it be the cabin steward, restaurant staff, or bar staff. All were friendly and attentive. The food quality and choice was excellent. The entertainment was first rate. A singer and comedian on the first night and a magician and another comedian on the 2nd night. The embarkation and the debarking processes were handled in fine order.

Bottom line is that if you want a relatively inexpensive trip and can look past the size limitations of the staterooms, I can highly recommend the Celebration.
