I'm not one to normally write a review. We received a phone call two weeks prior to embarking to upgrade to a penthouse. Never happened before but going to be very hard to go back to a regular suite.

I must say everyone was very friendly on staff. The entertainment was ok (very funny comedian) but just what you'd expect. But even the stewards in the hall say aloha. And there are plenty of wait staff everywhere. (Bucket of beer your best deal - they don't go bad).

The restaurants are good. Ate in the Skyline twice so I didn't have to put on long pants. Food was above average but not gourmet level. Also ate twice in the Liberty, same food, nicer atmosphere. Also ate Lazy J (awesome) and Teppanaki (ok, but I've seen a lot of Japanese chefs). Never ate at the buffet!

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Great location. Starboard forward. You can hear the neighbors when on the balcony (especially when they are the loud family). Starboard is good views in ports (still a harbor). Hononlulu dockside but fun to watch the activity. Other ports were better views except Kaue. Overlooked industrial area and no where close to walk to.

Huge bed with night light switches on either side. I think they turn off automatically after a few hours.

Had to use an extention cord for my cpap machine.

Not just bath towels, but bath blankets. Oh my.

Lot's of drawers and room to hang things. Suitcases fit under the bed.

Didn't use the mini bar much.

And be prepared for your butler ringing the doorbell every afternoon with some kinf of special treat.

Lots of light switches. Recomend trying them all ASAP so you can find everything. Lots of outlets for our chargers.

Love the coffee machine. Have the butler bring you some extra of your favorite flavors.

We had such a great time we would like to do it again - Back to Back!
