We were aboard the Carnival Conquest July 3-10, 2011. We had a great time on this cruise itinerary and would recommend it.

Embarkation - We parked at Lighthouse Parking. I was impressed by how quickly our luggage was loaded onto the bus. We were driven to the port area in about 5 minutes. The check in process was very well organized. We were on the ship by noon. The buffet on the Lido deck was open and we found a place to sit. Our rooms were ready around 1:30. Our luggage arrived at our door by 2:00. The safety drill was extremely unorganized. We were on the back row with 3 rows in front of us. It was very hot and we couldn't see the staff demonstrations of how to use the lifejacket. I think improvement is needed during this drill.

Ship - The ship is very easy to get around on. We were on the Empress Deck mid-ship. The Conquest is decorated with a France theme.
