This is my 6th time cruising, 2nd time with RCL. Will NEVER cruise again with this line!
Good experience:
Excellent power water pressure from shower.
Good food in the dining room.
Nice decor in the dining room.
Rosa, a professional, helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable staff at the purser. We received outstanding customer service from her.
Bad experience:
Overall, Profoundly disappointed! Below standard. Worse than any buffet restaurants in North America I have ever encountered.
Service:
Rude waiters, rude passengers.
One waiter in the breakfast gave sarcastic comment when asked for a clean table by the window. Another in Windjammer also gave out sarcastic comment when I tried to return to our table via some road blocks (chairs used to block the entrance).
Waiters on Deck 11 acted as if customers are a bother to them. Very often we're expected to give way to them.
Chief waiter argued with passenger. Not a very happy guy. Showed very little motivation to serve, except, on the last night.
Did not clear tables and let used dishes piled up. Except the last day.
Food selection:
Very limited choice of food in Windjammer. 3 stations repeat of food.
Environment:
Block off dining room sections at certain hours.
Stinky corridor and staterooms.
Entertainment:
Juggler- not very good
Music- rather weak
Broadway show- mediocre
Directors: could have had someone with a little class.
Management:
Tipping expectation is a joke. You expect people to tip for poor service. Just because your company rip off your employees does not mean the customers have to subsidize. Do you realize the tactics you used to ask for tips really turns people off? We did not like to be told how, when, who, and where to give the tips.
It is very obvious that they care only about making money instead of customer satisfaction.
