Ship Facts: Carnival Glory Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Glory Deck Plans
Glory not so Great :(
We just returned from a cruise with 34 friends to celebrate our special birthdays.

While we had a great time with our friends, this will be the last time I sail on Carnival (I was a returning cruiser).

The food was sub par and the service was worse. Dining room server brought out food too soon--what was supposed to be cold was warm and what was supposed to be hot was not.

Asking for something was a lost cause--it either came when you were done or when you didn't want it any longer. We never saw the head waiter until the last night when he came looking for his envelope.

Room service menu was minimal. We ordered lox and bagels for Friday morning. Bagels were toasted and hard (not ordered that way). We received 3 spoons and no knives or forks. Water for tea was lukewarm in insulated pitcher.

Someone in our party went to the bar during the day Friday and asked for orange juice (she does not drink soda). She was told that it was only available through room service and she had to go back to her cabin to order it.

The entertainment in the theater was amateur, boring and not worth the time wasted there. Dancers were never in snyc, choreography was redundant, simple and boring. Shows were one step above a high school production.

Cruise director (Josh) was very funny and the last show of Love and Marriage was very funny.

Again, we did have a good time. Got off the ship in both ports and did some touring---not much to see in St. John, Halifax was nice.
