A four day cruise to Cozumel for a friends 40th birthday was supposed to be a great occaison! Unfortunately, upon embarcation we found our room and it smelled like urine! This was on the Carnival Ship Destiny in June 2011.

First, I must say the Guest relations staff was very good and tried to help fix the situation. Also our cruise planner from Carnival helped us any way she could. However, there was no excuse for what happend to us.

This was supposed to be a Birthday Celebration for a dear friend with 10 guests, as well as a getaway for my cabin mate who has a sick grandmother and was trying to have a relaxing weekend to relieve her stress over her ill family member. Read more
