Embarkation -very quick and efficient -on ship in time for lunch-cabin was ready at 2pm and Luggage by 4pm.
Stateroom clean and comfortable-pull down bed is 5 foot wide so 2 kids had single beds -strong shower.Balcony OK for 2people.Good storage.Air Con noisy but not very effective at night although fine during the day!!.
Cabin Steward Ismael was excellent-attentive and we all appreciated the towel animals.
Staff in general were helpful and pleasant.
Entertainment was of good quality and variety -one show with Elvy Rose was bearable but only just.
Guitarist at las ramblas had an extensive play list and would play a request from this list.
Don't do Casinos but it seemed well patronised with all the usual tables and slot machines.
Teen club was good.My kids aged 13 and 16 made friends quickly and after day 2 we never saw them again for Dinner. The Dodge Ball games on Deck 12 went on until sunset and the kids returned to the stateroom at 1am
HOWEVER- the food is 3 star at best in the buffet and main restaurants. It is not well presented in the buffet and was often tepid.The variety was not as good as on a previous cruise. There was no difficulty getting a table in the main restaurants-people must vote with their feet and pay extra for the Speciality restaurants.Perhaps this is what NCL wants.The great Outdoor Buffet on Deck 11 was good for breakfast and served almost the same food with less queues than the Garden room buffet
Apart from the food.We loved the relaxed ambiance on the ship.Dress up if you wish-most people were casual.A great itinerary
