We sailed out of Miami on July 4. The embarkation process took about 10 minutes. So very quick and we were onboard by noon. We went straight to the Windjammer for lunch since we knew that would be the only time they served the honey chicken.

Our room was ready about 1:00 and our luggage was delivered about 3:30.

We spent the day by the pool and endured the muster drill. We had just been on this same cruise in March so we knew the ship looked great after the refurbish last year.

I strongly recommend this ship for a quick 4 night getaway. We loved everything about it. Our server in the dining room was Nelsita. She reminded me a lot of Queen Latifah. lol. Our assistant waiter was Jose. He had his puzzled moments but for the most part was very efficient.

Enjoyed dinner every night. We had two couples with us that had never cruised before and they were mesmerized by the food. Loved that if they didnt like something, they could order something else.

One of our passengers in our party did not care for the pizza. Ordered pepperoni pizza and it had only two pepperonis though I never ate the pizza.

Loved the shows very much. The dancers were all amazing.

In Nassau our guests with us did the Blue Lagoon dolphin swim on our recommendation as we did it in March. They thought it was a lifetime thrill just as we did. While they did that, we did the Stuart's Cove snorkeling excursion which involved a shark snorkel. It paid off well as there were a lot of fish and coral in the first two stops and many sharks in the third stop. I cannot recommend the shark snorkel excursion for those weak at heart. It was very much without any safety nets.

It rained our day at CocoCay but we were snorkeling so it didn't matter that much. The barbecue lunch was delicious as always.

We had been to Key West before and our guests decided to do the Key West Pub Crawl. It rained the entire day and we got soaked walking from bar to bar and they were really far apart but we had a blast nonetheless. No transportation involved, just your feet.

The only problem we had was having no place to eat on the ship that day. Breakfast ended at 10:30 and lunch did not start until noon. Our excursion was at 1:00 so we were stuck without anything to eat since we slept in and didn't leave our stateroom until 10:30. No pizza, deli or Johnny Rockets. We had to find something to eat on shore.

Other than that, nothing to complain about. Great ship, great food, great dance party by the pool the night we left Key West.

As always, a bit tough leaving the ship so early in the morning but otherwise, we would not have been able to get on board by noon our first day so it is understandable. Immigration was done on Key West day so the day we disembarked we literally walked right off the ship and picked up our luggage in about 10 minutes.

Great cruise for the value. We prefer 7 night cruises and larger ships but this cannot be beat for a 4 night getaway!

Cabin review: Ocean View Stateroom

Our cabin was 9570, superior ocean view stateroom. Was very spacious and had an amazing amount of storage for a cruise ship cabin.
