Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

There are 2 club dining rooms, each with 2 sittings. There's also a Freedom dining room, and several other places to eat (some cost extra). The Playhouse has 3 shows at night, but because there are so many people eating at different times, the first sitting diners have an almost impossible chance of going to the second show. Their only option is for the one at 10.30pm, which is rather late if one is going on an early trip next morning.

The Malabar is an open area, and people can walk through on the starboard side and sit at tables along the windows. When there is a recital in the Malabar people complain if those sitting in the open area are talking to each other. To get to the Playhouse, it is necessary to walk through the Glasshouse bar/restaurant.

It's not possible to walk all the way around the promenade deck. The bow is closed off, and one must go through the doors near the Playhouse and out the other side, then it's possible to continue around the stern.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin JC

Cabin R614 Riviera Deck Port side.

If you don't smoke and your neighbours do, don't leave your balcony door open at night, if the neightbours sit out late at night, the smoke will blow into your cabin. There is a problem with the floor between the two beds. if you step near to the drawer, it feels as though the floor is going down and it makes a noise. When you step back the floor springs back into position. This was reported. Beds are comfortable; not too far to walk to the rear of the corridor to reach lifts and steps to buffet one flight above. Also near to the terrace bar.

The wardrobe area is open and a closed unit nearby has shelves. There's tea, coffee, milk, sugar and sweeteners and also biscuits.A hairdrier is in a cupboard.

Lights only come on if a keycard is placed in slot near cabin door!!
