A "stay and cruise" holiday was booked which had to be child free. First week in Majorca was fine - a child free hotel. Second week was supposed to be child free as Thomson brochure plainly states that the Dream is child free throughout June.
Transfer from hotel to ship was done by a scruffy, rusty van carrying 7 passengers. The driver did not speak nor understand English and, it seemde to all of us that he did not really know the way from Cala Bona to Palma harbour.
After many stops, starts and detours, we eventually arrived at a deserted dock side with no sight of any ship. The driver was about to start unloading our suitcases when a dockyard official intervened and after some talk (in Spanish), we set off again. We then arrived at a street level entrance to a quay which plainly stated Norwegian Epic and the driver insisted that we get out and he unkoaded our luggage. One of us managed to find a Norwegian Epic staff member who pointed us in the direcvtion of the Dream. After around 25 minutes walking, towing/carrying suitcases up 2 flights and down 2 flights of stairs (no lifts or escalators) we finally arrived at the Dream. No-one, of course was interested in our complaints.
7079 - nice cabin but directly opposite 4 berth which, as in our case, could be occupied by noisy and ill behaved youngsters meaning very disturbed nights
with no help from ship's reception in controlling bad behaviour.
